I never write reviews but honestly this is a genius app. I have family all over the country that want to watch my son grow. I hate posting millions of pics on FB so at least once a week(or everyday if I remember) I upload allll my cute pics of my son for the whole family to see! They can comment or "like" each pic/video and the best part is I can delete some pics off my phone after uploading it to make room for more pics! Its easy, fast, and convenient ten stars!!

Lifecake is a MUST for parents! Ive used it daily for years to store and privately share photos, movies, and stories about my kids with family and close friends both at home and abroad. Its elegant, streamlined, and so easy to use. I love the way all my images and movies are presented in one continuous timeline interspersed with stories. Even better is that I dont have to date or organize any of my uploads - everything is automatically placed in chronological order based on meta data in my digital files. The day I installed Lifecake was the day I got caught up on FIVE YEARS of unorganized images of my kids and dispensed with struggling to organize and update cumbersome folders of photos and movies on my computer. I upload (and then delete) images from my phone wherever I am and never have to deal with phone storage limit issues. I preserve so many cute and funny things my kids say and do by writing about them in Lifecake right away - Im so grateful for that. I make books and prints straight from Lifecake and love that feature, too. Once I tried Lifecake there was no going back... I love and depend on it!

Theres no sound since the last update on IOS! Please fix!

Almost every time I go to upload a picture it says that there was a problem saving-try again later. No matter what picture, when I try it, etc. Its very frustrating. Good concept, if it would work!

This a great app when grandparents live far away! Love it!

We post pictures and videos on lifecake daily. Its so easy for our less technologically inclined relatives to use, great for keeping out of state grandparents included in our babys rapid growth, and comes with the added bonus of not having to spam facebook with photos of our kids. We love this app!

My husband and I started using this when I was pregnant with my daughter. We love it. It is easy to upload photos and videos and it is simple for so many of our family to view via various devices. Our only complaint is that you cannot have more than one child per email account/app. My sister started using for her daughters as well but we had to create logins with second email accounts to view our nieces. Please fix this!!

Can have all my pictures in one place to share with family! So easy to use for everyone in the family! Love this app! Highly recommended!

Totally addicted!

I have been using Lifecake for four years to share and store photos, movies, and stories. Lifecake is a dream come true! Its so convenient and easy to use yet elegantly and simply presented. I have Lifecakes for each of my children and love knowing that all these movies, stories, and still images will be there for them, always. Not needing to date my images is a huge time saver; Lifecake automatically places them in the correct place in the timeline immediately upon upload (using metadata embedded in the files) - thats a HUGE time saver! Lifecake enabled me to get rid of all the folders and backlog of images waiting to be organized on my computer - I got caught up on six years of photos in less than a week! All my media looks so clean and beautifully presented. Searching for photos by date is of course a breeze, but I love that searching by subject, my favorites, or by tag is very simple, too. I really enjoy being able to make slide shows of my images (set to music) right in Lifecake, and sharing them via email or Facebook, etc. SO GREAT! In addition to a Lifecake for each of my children, I created Lifecakes for my own childhood as well as a Lifecake for photos and movies of my own life now that I wish to keep separate from photos of my kids. Each Lifecake is its own little world, yet it is very easy to toggle back and forth between each life cake separately or to view them all at the same time. I can upload to selected Lifecakes or all of them at once. Love, LOVE Lifecake and I cant imagine life without it now!

I just downloaded the app and it keeps crashing every time I try to upload a photo

I love that I can view my twins pictures from the day they were born! Such a good way to share photos and videos to family and friends without posting them on public social media sites.

I love this app! This is so incredibly easy to use, fun… And gives me the opportunity to save pictures and create a photo album at the end of every year! The quality of the photos in the books are awesome… I wish youd make them slightly bigger but… I love this app!

This is great to share pics of our newborn so we arent constantly sending pics. People just go to life cake. I wish there was a journal along with it.

I love this app, but when I went to update it all my pictures disappeared except 6 of them which did not even load.

Very nice & easy way to share pictures with family & friends instead of email and text. Pretty simple and intuitive to use.
